A few minutes to get going

Three steps to your first import.

Keep the desktop app running while you set up the extension.

  1. Install the desktop app.

    On Mac, open the DMG and drag Fizzwise into Applications. On Windows, review the beta notice and run the installer.

  2. Pair your Import Assistant.

    Unzip the extension, load its folder in Chrome, then copy the pairing token from the app’s Import center into the extension. Use app port 41733 and choose Save & test connection.

  3. Open a report. Bring it in.

    Sign in to your back office yourself. Open a supported report, then choose Sync this report in the extension. You can enable daily sync separately.

Your plan, verified

One email. A quick code.

In Settings → Plan, use your purchase or approved beta email and enter the six-digit verification code. Subscription activation and billing management use that verified email.

Already installed an earlier version? Install the update over it, then verify your email. Keep the existing app data folder to retain your local records.

How do I install on a Mac?
  1. Download and open the DMG.
  2. Drag Fizzwise to Applications. If you are updating, quit the old app first. Once Fizzwise is installed, use it instead of the previous application.
  3. Open Fizzwise from Applications. macOS may ask you to confirm opening a downloaded app.

This Apple Silicon package is Developer ID signed and notarized. If macOS reports a damaged app or an unexpected security warning, stop and contact support with the exact message.

What should I expect from the Windows beta?

This installer is unsigned while Microsoft reviews our publisher identity. Installation and core runtime checks passed on a Windows runner; interactive beta testing is still part of this release.

Windows may show “Windows protected your PC.” If this is your own unmanaged PC, you have verified that the download came from this page, and you choose to proceed, “More info” may offer “Run anyway.” Smart App Control or your organization’s policies can block installation entirely. Contact support if it is blocked; do not disable your security software.

Run the EXE, then open Fizzwise from the Start menu. Quit the old app before installing an update. The installer is for your current user account.

How do I install and pair the extension?
  1. Download the ZIP and extract it. Keep the resulting extension folder somewhere permanent, such as Documents.
  2. Open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, select Load unpacked, and choose that folder. In Edge, use edge://extensions.
  3. Open the desktop app’s Import center and copy its pairing token.
  4. Open the Import Assistant from your browser toolbar. Expand App connection & daily sync, paste the token, use port 41733, and choose Save & test connection.
  5. Sign in to your back office and open a report. Choose Sync this report. The assistant can also walk through known reports using Sync everything.

Sync runs in a separate minimized window. You can close the popup and reopen it to check progress, stop, or retry unfinished items. Keep the app and browser running.

Optional daily sync is off by default. If enabled, it uses your existing signed-in back-office session while the browser and local app are running. Turn it off in the extension’s connection settings.

For a ZIP update, replace files in the same extension folder and click Reload on the extensions page. Store-based automatic extension updates are not available yet.

Will updating remove my data?

The application and its data folder are separate. Install over the existing application and retain its data folder. Before beta upgrades, export a backup from the app. The Windows checks covered reinstalling this version; upgrades from older versions still need beta validation. Do not rename or delete the app’s data folder.

What if my verification code does not arrive?

Check the purchase or approved beta email address and your spam folder for a message from verify@getfizzwise.com. Codes expire after ten minutes. If you have requested several codes, wait fifteen minutes before retrying. Contact support if you are still stuck.

Have feedback? Use Settings → Send feedback in the app. Include your operating system, app version and the error message. Leave customer records, pairing tokens and verification codes out of screenshots.
